Marketing is one of those things every company knows it needs but most tend to push to the side to better focus on hitting sales goals, hiring and recruiting, improving operational efficiencies, etc. However, Marketing truly makes an impact on every aspect of a business. If you’re planning on attracting new customers to hit your sales goals, how are you going to get in front of them? If your company is having a difficult time recruiting new top talent, what kind of an image are you portraying to the public? Marketing is so much more than just “something we’ll get to when we have time” or designing an ad or flyer. What I genuinely enjoy is being able to provide some of that insight to our clients and partners.
I am an active learner with a very high-energy personality so I’m always looking for new ways to do things and different approaches to solving an issue. My advertising and marketing experience tells one story – what you don’t know is I’ve also dabbled in lawn care, worked as a server and bartender for 10 years, attempted retail (not my thing) and am handy with power tools. I’m always game for exciting challenges that will test my abilities and let me use my experiences to their full potential.
Sitting still is not my forte so when I’m not at work, I’m usually chasing after my three kids and two dogs, re-painting the kitchen for the fourth time, competing in runs across varying distances or trying out the newest restaurant. I am also very active at my church where I teach at the preschool level, which is basically just an opportunity for me to sing and dance without judgement.
